Different Type of Truck Scales

 There is absolutely no difference in weighbridges and truck scales, truck scales are basically a US variant of the same equipment. It is a scale mounted on a platform used for the purpose to measure the weight of the vehicles or other containers. The vehicle is generally passed onto the surface once for it to decipher the total weight of the truck and that it qualifies the defined regulation by the country’s authorities or not.

There are around 4 types of Truck Scales.

  • Track Weigh Bridge – There are three criteria to be considered in a good weighbridge which are higher strength, greater reliability and faster installation, a track weighbridge fulfills all three. There is a choice between a Surface Mounted or a Pit Mounted Truck Scale.

  • Concrete Truck Scale – Demand less maintenance and hold a great deal of capacity to bear heavy loads and vehicles. Its concrete top makes it easier to place the bulk materials.   • Tufdek Weighbridge - Use of high tensile steel makes sure that there is stronger sectional efficiency and load-bearing capacity. It takes around 7-8 hours to install this compactly designed and ruggedly constructed piece. Fully welded modules using High Tensile welding wires offers rigidity to the platform.
